Carlos A. Temperan

V&T Wealth Strategies, President

Carlos focuses on creating protection strategies that are as easy to follow as they are impactful in moving clients’ circumstances forward. His secret is the time he takes to understand his clients, along with their goals and desires, resulting in clients’ confidence with strategies tailored to each particular need.

Hobbies and Interests: Music, arts, jazz, cooking, sports, chess and literature.

Roy Perez

Managing Associate

Roy Perez graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship. After graduation, Roy began his financial services career as a Financial Consultant in Miami, while continuing to be active in the Florida State University Alumni Association as well as his local community. Roy joined V&T Wealth Strategies as Chief Operating Officer in January 2018. Roy currently leads the operations for V&T Wealth Strategies based out of South Florida

Roy lives in Miami, Florida and enjoys boating, charitable giving, snorkeling and occasionally attempts to play a decent round of golf.

Dave Leali CHFC®, CLU®

Financial Planning Specialist​

Dave is our analytical professional behind the scenes for V&T Wealth Strategies. In his also at-times client-facing role, Dave leaves no stone unturned when it comes to mapping out strategies for our clients. His findings are entirely objective in nature as he embraces strict standard of care.

In his free time, Dave enjoys family outings and coaches kids soccer!

Reed Willett

Investment Specialist

Reed began his career in the financial services industry as an institutional fixed income broker with Crews & Associates in the immediate aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. After just over a year as a broker, he accepted a position on the trading desk at Simmons First National Bank, where he eventually became the Head Trader overseeing municipal, corporate and mortgage trading operations. He also revived the Bank’s Municipal Underwriting Desk and began bringing issues that raised money for rural school districts.
Reed serves as the firm’s investment Specialist, with a robust experience on a fixed income trading desk, compliance and operations, extensive knowledge of annuities, and financial planning, he has become a key valued member of our team. He is a frequent lecturer and speaker to our team of financial professionals conducting numerous education series and advanced concepts.
His passion for serving others and experience in various areas of the financial services industry has led Reed to be an integral team player by supporting our clients and business owners with comprehensive legacy planning, charitable giving, advanced estate planning, and comprehensive annuity analysis with multiple insurance carriers and different tax-efficient strategies.
Reed takes great pride in our commitment to our clients by providing unparalleled client service through our guiding principle of securing our client’s legacy and protecting the ones they love most – family and community. He is active in his local community, and participates in various philanthropic causes – including, but not limited to Fruitful Field, Loaves & Fishes and Habitat for Humanity. He is an avid golfer, food enthusiast and loves to travel.

Michelle Friedlander

Disability income and Long Term Care Planning

Michele has over 30 plus years of experience in primarily the disability income insurance arena.  She specializes in offering solutions to help maximize income protection for individuals, businesses, and employees. By working with some of the top carriers in the industry, Michele strives to offer the most appropriate options to both individuals and groups.

Michele earned her RHU (Registered Health Underwriter) and REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant) designations from the American College. She is a graduate of the University of Miami and a certified Continuing Education Instructor.

She was the Past President of the “Women In Financial Services Organization”, and a current member “Women in Financial Services”; she was the 2019 and 2020 Chapter President for Broward NAIFA. Michele is extremely active in the community.

 

Jennifer Lubieniecki

Client Relationship Manager

Jennifer adds a dynamic, client-centric skill set to the AWS team! She plays an integral role in our new business processing, primarily between our clients, advisors and institutions alike. In 2017, Jennifer entered the financial services industry and quickly grasped the importance of balancing client relations with effective business strategies and functionalities. Since then, each of our clients have experienced an unparalleled level of service and implementation which is synonymous with the Artisan touch

RJ Miles

Management Consultants​

RJ got his start in the financial services industry when he joined MassMutual in 2007. After spending almost 14 years at the Home Office with roles in Service, Sales, and the Society 1851 area, he had the opportunity to join Coastal Wealth, A MassMutual Firm, as a Practice Management Consultant in 2020.

He works with Advisors at all levels and focuses on helping them grow their practice by being more efficient and spending more time focusing on the parts of their job they love. RJ particularly enjoys being a coach and consultant for his advisors and pushing them to achieve and then exceed their goals and objectives. 

He supports his Advisors in the areas of goal setting & execution, client engagement and retention strategy, and business and operations processes. He is also the Agency’s Teaming Director and assists Advisors interested in forming, developing, and growing a team.

Outside of work, RJ loves to cook, spend time with his family, and watch and play sports. He is also a dedicated fan of all the Boston sports teams. He makes his home in West Springfield, MA with his wife Jill and son Bennett.

Financial plan recommendations can be implemented with the advisor of your choosing. Implementation of specific products or services may result in commissions or fees outside of the financial plan fee. Periodic reviews of your financial plan may require a new planning agreement and result in additional fees.
